AniForte Skin & Coat Tablets Review: Dotty's Incredible Coat Transformation

Dotty's Rescue Story
At the end of October 2025, little Dotty was found as a stray in an appalling condition. She had suffered a rectal prolapse, requiring emergency veterinary treatment to save her.
To allow her bowel to heal properly, Dotty had to remain on a bland diet for several weeks. During surgery, the veterinary team also needed to shave a large area above her tail—approximately 3.5 x 2.5 inches—to administer an epidural while they repaired the prolapse.

She was diagnosed with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), meaning her diet would always need careful management. Being a merle, she also suffered from severe skin allergies that affected both her comfort and her appearance.
Her ears became covered in scabs and started losing fur. Her tail also became patchy and bald, and the large shaved area above her tail simply refused to grow back.
When Hair Simply Wouldn't Return
Dotty was spayed on 29th April 2026.
The veterinary team were genuinely surprised that the area shaved back in October still looked as though it had been clipped the previous day. After six months, there was virtually no hair regrowth whatsoever.
For any dog owner, that's concerning.
