If your pet is already being fed raw bones, reduce the amount accordingly or omit completely. Daily amounts are guidelines and may vary depending on your pet’s age, weight, activity level, and individual nutritional needs.

For adult dogs, the daily requirement is approximately
3g for dogs up to 5kg
5g for dogs up to 10kg
7g for dogs up to 15kg
9g for dogs up to 20kg
11g for dogs up to 25kg
13g for dogs up to 30kg

For larger dogs, add an additional 2g for every 5kg of body weight.

Puppies and young dogs up to around 6 months of age require approximately 2 to 2.5g per kg of body weight daily. Large breed dogs from 6 to 12 months require approximately 1.5g per kg of body weight. Calcium requirements for growing dogs may vary depending on age, current weight, and expected adult size.

For adult cats, the recommended daily amount is approximately
0.5g for cats up to 2kg
